SPRING/SUMMER PROGRAMS

The Original Six Hockey Development Program is now releasing their spring /summer program options . Please  review each option and let us know where you want to register your player.  all options have an important element ..an ideal pkg for summer …2 games and 1 professional training session . This can be achieved by choosing option A, B,C OR D.

please note

if you choose only one option then payment is made in full before start of the  program . if you have chosen 2 or more options then we can provide you with  the option to pay your totals in 2 installments. keep in mind once your player is registered on a team and / or training group,you are good to go. so no need to worry . you will be given regular updates as we get closer to starting each program . register always with players y.o.b and current level of play .please secure your player spot with payment . we can work out the  installments when required .

OPTION A……N.T.R  SPRING/SUMMER    3 on 3 GAMES  …ONE GAME PER WEEK( 15 WEEKS, 16 WEEKS, OR 17 WEEKS )  ..INDIVIDUAL AND TEAM SPOTS AVAILABLE 

Original Six Hockey will once again recruit players to form a select number of teams at the various levels and divisions ( see below ) . .if you have a group of players of similar caliber and want them on the  same team …just let us know and we will do our best to make a competitive team .

summer 3 on 3 games  details

1.  games will run for 15,16 or 17 weeks  depending on the division you have registered for .This includes playoffs. For the long weekends ,n.t.r will not hold games on the  fridays ,saturdays , sundays or mondays  of Victoria day , canada day and civic holiday long weekends.
2. teams will consist of 9 players max plus a goalie
3. games are minutes ( 2-22 min periods ) on the fly shifting for rep teams and buzzer for recreation  teams
4. Original six hockey will supply jerseys to borrow
5. The cost is $685 for a 15 week program …$730 for a 16 week program..  $775 for 17 week program  ( includes hst) …please etransfer to : originalsixhockey1942@gmail.com to book your spot on a team ..please make your password simple( “hockey”)  and  fill in the player name in description..ie. ..” summer 3 on 3 registration for  jack Duff ” ) 
6. player of game recognition, prizes, end of season awards/medals/mvp / pro and Junior A coaching/player guidance /feedback for development
7. we will still be looking for more dedicated coaches  as we want to continue having players develop in the summer and make this a fun experience .coaches will be asked to take a larger role such as  using the white board to coach their players to get better in each game /providing positive feedback to each player,,etc ..( discounts available for serious/dedicated  coaches )  .ultimately we want to  provide a  learning experience for the players . also needed..volunteer assistants  /door help..parent volunteers can rotate weekly if required . .. Please let us know if you are interested.
8. you will receive regular updates as we approach start of games ..so no need to worry  if your player is registered .once you registered  your player , you are good to go .,

To Register :  there is no formal registration ..just simply  provide player name , y.o.b( year of birth ..)     and division you feel best matches your players current team  /caliber/level ( please be realistic) .please do not sign up your player based solely on the day of the week you prefer. your player may be under or over challenged in this situation. We will help advise if necessary.  Also please pay a deposit of $350 to secure your player spot. Your balance and payment schedule will be provided if you are also joining in the other options .We will take care of the rest . we will be in touch as teams start forming

***** if you have already registered and emailed us with your player info then we have them in a division and level  based on your request .keep in mind that we will be looking at the caliber of other teams so if your player is in a level that is over or underchallenged , we will be requesting that they shift to a team more compatible for your player . This is for the benefit of the team and player.

Frequently asked  Question.???.what is the difference with Original Six Hockey and N.T.R ..3 on 3 games for the summer ?   Original Six Hockey is strictly a Development Program  and our goal is to get your player to reach another level. As such we recruit players from all over the G.T.A . Many   have played in the O.6 Program in one capacity or another . In this regard ,we know most of the players and the caliber they bring to the  game . This allows us to create teams with many players who know each other and to make them as competitive as possible . Of course this will depend on the number of players registering at the given division and caliber . We also make sure that our teams are always filled to make us competitive against every team . This requires time as we need to  recruit back up players with similar caliber ..not always an easy task .We provide our players a dedicated coach to make sure players are developing and having fun . We provide players with a lot of feedback and player recognition awards. So this should provide you with a good reason why our prices are marginally higher compared to n.t.r .  you get great value for your money and as they say ” you get what you pay for ” and more !!!

OPTION  B …..SATURDAY ORIGINAL SIX SPRING  GAMES …( MAY 10 TO JUNE 28…….8 GAMES )   4 on 4 …2008 -2017 players …22 min of ice time per player

1. We will be forming 6 teams for  a weekly round robin format of 4 on 4  . The schedule will be set up with the last few games being playoff games  ( similar format to our current wknd games ) …note ..we may at times introduce a centerman position to educate players on the centers role during a game .
2.we will accept individual players and groups of players from a current team and will tier the players if required. ( all levels) ...please note : our current fall/winter full time players will have the opportunity to join first .  
3. Please keep in mind that our goal is always to balance the teams the  best we can to ensure fun and competitive games so it may not always be possible to have some of your          buddies on the same team . but the good news is that you get to play against them every Saturday .
4. ..we will have a tiered division to ensure a competitive balance ( if required )

Original Six Hockey will  be holding elite spring/ summer training sessions on wednesdays from may 7 to aug 27 …..we will be utilizing high level pro instructors…Junior. o.h.l ,former  and current pro players  …power skating/flow drills and unique drills to take your player out of his comfort zone to achieve new heights in his/her game.

4:15 pm……( 2014-2017 )..players ( rec,select,a,aa,aaa) ( 16 players max ) .. we will split the ice to have players train with other similar caliber players ….$50 /per session..book all 17 sessions( $ 765)
